Increased government fees for work permit applications
Increased government fees for work permit applications
New updated fees for work- and residence permit application as of 1 January, 2020.
As of January 1, 2020, the Swedish government has decided to update the fees for work- and residence permit applications. As a result, the charges for most types of applications will increase. For work permit applications, the most significant change will be that extension applications will be charged the same fee as first-time applications. Those who have previously been exempted from the application fee, for example Japanese nationals, will continue to be exempted. Please see below list of revised applications fees as of January 1, 2020.
