Tax Seniors

 

KPMG Mongolia's Tax division is searching for Senior associates in our team.

Senior associates will support the ongoing management of client tax reporting to the Mongolia Tax Authority (MTA) and assist the team to provide accurate and timely support to our standardized services.

You will develop relationships with clients, KPMG services and other overseas KPMG firms, as well as act as a point of liaison with the MTA on behalf of the client. 

 

Requirements:

·   Work as part of a dynamic team dealing with complex tax issues and tax reporting, and contribute to a range of complex client engagement activities

·   Deliver high quality, technically accurate outputs on a timely basis

·   Prepare, review and lodge financial statements, tax and internal reporting for clients

·   Establish and support continuous improvement initiatives in compliance, accounting procedures and standard processing-based activities 

·   Seek out opportunities to ensure a full understanding of client on-boarding and risk management procedures of the firm and contribute where appropriate

·   Actively build own capability to increase and diversify technical skills

·   Draft client advice for a review, and applying your strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills and delivering actionable insights

Responsibilities:

·   Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, commerce or law

·   3-5 years of experience in the tax and accounting fields

·   Working knowledge of Mongolian tax legislation and strong understanding of reporting requirements

·   Experience in financial statement and tax reporting preparation 

·   Ability to deliver high quality, accurate outputs in an efficient manner

·   Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills

·   Good written and oral communication skills in English
