KPMG Mongolia’s Advisory team support clients with high-value strategic and financial decisions, typically in the context of M&A or large-scale capital investment. We bring financial analysis, commercial acumen and market insights to deliver sound investments. With over 10 years of experience in the Mongolian market, KPMG is one of the most trusted professional service providers in Mongolia. We are a multi-cultural office with expatriate partners and managers from all over the world, including Korea, South Africa, Chile and Venezuela. Our Advisory team includes the following service lines:

·   Transaction Services including financial and commercial due diligence 

·   Corporate Finance

·   Deal Advisory 

·   Valuation

·   Restructuring Services

·   Forensic

 

What You Will Do

This position involves advising public and private businesses operating in a variety of industries:

·   Assist in advisory assignments in support of the purchase and/or sale of a business, tax planning, financial reporting and litigation

·   Support managers in managing project timelines and deliver multiple simultaneous client engagements of varying size, scope, and complexity

·   Conduct economic and industry research and detailed financial analysis

·   Draft detailed reports, analysis and other client deliverables

·   Provide support in preparing proposals

·   Contribute effective working of the team and development of team morale

 

What You Bring To The Role

·   Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

·   CPA, CFA, ACCA designation in progress or completed but not required

·   Excellent analytical and writing skills with strong attention to detail

·   Advanced skills in MS Office and general financial modelling

·   Strong proficiency in English 

·   Highly motivated, committed, self-starter and ability to prioritize work with changing priorities

·   Experience working in a regional or national accounting practice would be advantageous.
