KPMG Family for Literacy (KFFL)
KPMG supports a number of primary schools across the East Africa region under KPMG Family for Literacy (KFFL) which is a global corporate citizenship initiative by KPMG staff, alumni, spouses and families to raise literacy levels among low income communities. To date, KPMG has donated over 4,000 books through the KFFL project.
Starehe Boys and Girls Centres sponsorship
KPMG sponsors the education of five needy but bright boys attending Starehe Boys Centre. The firm also sponsors a similar number of girls at Starehe Girls Centre
Palmhouse Foundation
Since 2002, KPMG has partnered with Palmhouse Foundation to support and mentor bright but needy students, helping them transform their lives, families and society.
The Faraja Cancer Support Trust
KPMG supports Faraja Cancer Trust which offers cancer patients and their carers’ information, advice, counselling and complementary therapies in order to make their cancer journey manageable
Rhino Ark Charitable Trust
KPMG supports a team that participates in the annual Rhino Charge to raise funds for environment conservation efforts of Kenya’s water towers and endangered wildlife species.
Enactus
KPMG has supported Enactus since 1996 and has played a pivotal role in helping the organization create a global footprint. Today, KPMG member firms including Kenya support Enactus in 39 countries, and has been recognized as the Global Champion of Enactus. KPMG supports Enactus by being national, regional and international judges during business and entrepreneurship competitions and sit on various Enactus advisory boards.
