Gábor Zachár

Gábor joined Mergers & Acquisitions Group of KPMG's Tax Department in April 2008 after having worked at another Big4 company. Since October 2015, he is leading the Corporate Tax, M&A Tax and Deal Advisory practise of KPMG's Tax Department. He graduated with a major in finance at the Budapest Business School, Collage of Finance and Accountancy. Furthermore, he is a tax advisor and a chartered accountant. Gábor specialized in tax planning, tax structuring, tax due diligence and tax authority audits. He was the engagement manager on several taxation due diligence projects for investors seeking to invest in Hungary and advised clients – amongst others - on tax structuring as part of mergers & acquisitions in numerous sectors. He also assisted several companies in tax authority procedures, thus he gained experience on the practice of the Hungarian tax authorities. In addition to his native Hungarian, Gábor speaks and reads English.
