Our next Webcast Live: The Future of SOX: Technology risks, technology changes and SOX Programs

Date: Wednesday, 17th January 2024 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Participation is free of charge.

Join us for the latest installment of our Future of SOX webcast series as we discuss how SOX programs should deal with evolving technology risks and technology changes.

The SEC’s Cyber rule has been finalized, and we’ll discuss how those requirements interact with and impact SOX programs and SOX controls. In addition we’ll discuss how changes in the technology landscape are changing the way, and the tools that are used to manage risks, and those require changes in the design and execution of SOX controls and SOX testing. Specifically, we will discuss:

  • A perspective on the finalized SEC Cyber requirements and the impact and implications for SOX programs
  • A discussion of how SOX control design and testing procedures should be modified in order to adapt to evolving technology environments and enhancements such as a change to an Agile development environment, new tools such as the use of password vaults, the impact of better insight into areas such as Segregation of Duties, and the impact of the cloud and outsourced technology activities.
  • The impact of Gen AI on how first line risks and controls should be considered your 2023 SOX program.

We are looking forward to your participation!
