Senior Manager, Management Accounting

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Management Accounting to join the team at a leading consumer finance company. As the Senior Manager, Management Accounting, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 finance professionals and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial accounting reports. You will report directly to the Head of Financial Planning and Analytics and collaborate with other team leads in the finance department to oversee management reporting and treasury reports.

• Report to the Head of Financial Planning and Analytics
• Advise on annual strategic planning and business planning
• Provide financial analysis and forecast on any new initiatives
• Responsible for management reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, shareholders’ reporting and provide extensive analysis and presentation to senior management
• Evaluate business performance of different products / branches / channels
• Assist on any ad-hoc project and assist on business initiatives and projects
• Support company secretarial duties
• Provide financial highlights and business performance report to the management and shareholders accurately and timely
• Prepare variance analysis report, budget, forecast, business planning, revenue analysis, cost control, and loan assets analysis
• Prepare product wise P&Ls, with key performance indicators (KPI) and performance analysis
• Work with other departments on reviewing new business initiatives or projects and advise related accounting treatment
• Build financial models (including sensitivity analyses) for estimating the financial impact on new business initiatives/projects
• Provide strategic and tactical planning support, ensure targets are set in realistic and achievable plans and also to track performance against budget and actual
• Provide support on ad-hoc request and assist on business initiatives and projects
• Ensure all financial and accounting queries from shareholders and management are addressed in a timely fashion
• Provide guidance to subordinates whenever they have queries on their tasks

• University degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ auditing or accounting experience, preferably in banking field or supervisory grading
• Solid experience in management reporting and product performance analysis
• Solid experience in preparing presentation on analysis
• Members of HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
• Proven skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Effective written & verbal communication skill in both English and Chinese
• Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to handle multi-tasks & tight deadline jobs
• Mature, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
