PE Fund Accountant

Our client, a reputable US-based private equity fund (AUM20B) with a significant presence in Hong Kong, is seeking a talented and experienced Fund Accountant to join their team. 

• Perform valuation activities related to group’s private equity funds
• Prepare and review financial statements, investor statements, and capital account statements related to funds valuation
• Monitor and reconcile valuation of investments, portfolio companies, and other assets and liabilities
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for year-end audits and tax filings related to funds valuation
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to funds valuation
• Provide timely and accurate financial analysis related to funds valuation to support decision-making processes
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments related to funds valuation as required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in fund accounting for private equity clients
• Experience with accounting software, Excel, and other financial reporting tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
• CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
• Big 4 accounting firm experience is highly desirable
