Craig Davis is a Partner in the Risk Strategy & Technology (RST) practice, where he focuses on risk and regulatory transformation initiatives and leads our Treasury and Markets practice. Prior to re-joining KPMG Australia, Craig led the Risk Management practices in KPMG Canada and Singapore (with a leadership role across Asia Pacific). Prior to that, he was the Capital Markets lead for KPMG Australia.

Craig’s industry experience includes roles at major banks in Australia and the UK across the three lines (sales/trading, operations, risk) and regulation (APRA) as a risk specialist.

Whilst in Canada, Craig also acted as a Board Advisor to the Canadian Regtech Association.

This unique mix of industry, consulting, regulation, and international experience allows Craig to bring valuable insights to clients looking to enhance their risk and compliance functions.

Craig has supported his clients on a range of risk and regulatory transformation initiatives across 3 continents. As an advocate for the use emerging technologies and Regtech solutions he helps ensure clients stay abreast of industry changes and how they can incorporate these into their own strategic imperatives. Some examples include:

  • Risk and Treasury transformation includes enhancements to operating models, implementation of new technologies and improving processes.
  • Risk and Regulatory Technology – is a member of KPMG’s global working group and is the ASPAC lead for risk and regulatory driven solutions.
  • Risk Architecture improving architecture around risk and regulatory processes and technology
  • Managed services – is the global lead for “Risk as a Service” managed service platform
